The "Ethics of Food and the Environment" series explores -- through films, talks, and seminars -- the ethical issues surrounding food production in the United States and around the globe. These issues include:
- the effects of industrial food production on the environment
- concerns about the welfare
- of animals used for food or in producing food
- questions relating to organic food, processed food, and genetically modified food
- the nature and justification of the choices individuals make regarding the food they eat
